オンボードとグラボの併用について

現在マザーボードにH61m-hvsを使っていて4画面に出力する必要が出てきました。
マザボについている出力端子がD-subとHDMIの二つしかないので追加でグラボの購入を検討しています。

PCI-Eに対応したグラボを購入しようと思うのですがこの場合オンボードとグラボのどちらの出力端子からも映像は出力されるのでしょうか？

できるのではないかと思いますが。

確かなことはマザーボードメーカーに確認するしかないです。マザーボードによっては、オンボードとスロットに挿したビデオカードの併用ができないものもありますから。

Z77系はできるのですがH61は聞いてみるしかないでしょうね。

ただ、３画面以上の出力には高いリスクが伴います。
グラボの出力数とモニターがあれば増やせるように思ってしまいがちですが、
併用や２枚差しはマザボとの相性があり、ケースバイケースで
問題なく使えたり使えなかったりします。

どのような問題かというと軽いと描画がもたついたり、画面間で窓移動したときに
な～んかヤバい系の変な動作したり、最悪はブルー画面繰り返してシステム破損します。

２画面まではオンボあるいは一般的なグラボで使っても３画面以上はググっても
事例が少ないのはそういった理由にぶち当たって使用を断念することが多いからですね。

どうしても４画面使いたいのであれば４画面出せる高性能グラボ１枚からが一番ですが、
いまの仕様は４画面目以上の出力はDisplayPortになり、モニターがDVI以下の入力しかない場合、
特殊で高価な変換でDVIに変換するか、DisplayPort入力ありのモニターに買い換えるしか手がありません。

マルチモニター用のグラボなどは出力が全てDisplayPortですしね。
以上、あげた、相性、安定性、変換、ポートの問題で
４画面はかなりハードル高いから覚悟したほうがいいですよ？
安価に考えてやると散財して結局安定しないなどえらい目に合います。

追伸になりますが、

私はビデオカードの2枚挿しで3画面表示してます。

3～4画面表示するのに、一番簡単で確実でコスト的にも安くできるのはPCIE16タイプのビデオカードの2枚挿しをすることです。当然マザーボードにはスロットが2つあるタイプでないとできませんが。

私の場合、3画面ともデジタル表示です。やはりアナログ表示だとモニターのサイズにもよりますが、画質が悪いですね。

単に3～4画面表示するだけなら、ビデオカードは高性能なものはいりません。

質問するときはハード情報も書いたほうが良いです、

多画面を使用する場合処理する情報量がそれだけ増えますが元の情報はCPUで行われるのでCPUの能力が影響します。
ビデオカードを増やしてもCPUの能力が影響します、普通に事務処理（Excelなど）なら問題はありませんが使い方次第です。

本題ですが質問する方も回答する方も仕様書位は調べてみて下さい、ASRock(H61m-hvs)のマザーボードは"Surround Display Feature"と言って多画面出力を正式にサポートしています。
Windows8もサポートされています（HPにドライバー類が提供されています）

＞Surround Display Feature
This motherboard supports surround display upgrade. With the internal VGA output
support (HDMI and D-Sub) and external add-on PCI Express VGA cards, you can
easily enjoy the benefits of surround display feature.
Please refer to the following steps to set up a surround display environment:
1. Install the PCI Express VGA card on PCIE1 slot. Please refer to page 20 for
proper expansion card installation procedures for details.
2. Connect HDMI monitor cable to HDMI port on the I/O panel, and connect
D-Sub monitor cable to D-Sub port on the I/O panel. Then connect other
monitor cables to the corresponding connectors of the add-on PCI Express VGA
card on PCIE1 slot.
3. Boot your system. Press <F2> or <Del> to enter UEFI setup. Enter “Onboard
VGA Share Memory” option to adjust the memory capability to [32MB], [64MB],
[128MB], [256MB] or [512MB] to enable the function of D-sub. Please make
sure that the value you select is less than the total capability of the system
memory. If you do not adjust the UEFI setup, the default value of “Onboard VGA
Share Memory”, [Auto], will disable D-Sub function when the add-on VGA card is
inserted to this motherboard.
4. Install the onboard VGA driver and the add-on PCI Express VGA card driver to
your system. If you have installed the drivers already, there is no need to install
them again.
5. Set up a multi-monitor display.

For Windows® 7 / 7 64-bit / VistaTM / VistaTM 64-bit OS:
Right click the desktop, choose “Personalize”, and select the “Display
Settings” tab so that you can adjust the parameters of the multi-monitor
according to the steps below.
A. Click the number ”2” icon.
B. Click the items “This is my main monitor” and “Extend the desktop onto
this monitor”.
C. Click “OK” to save your change.
D. Repeat steps A through C for the display icon identified by the number
three and four.
6. Use Surround Display. Click and drag the display icons to positions representing
the physical setup of your monitors that you would like to use. The placement
of display icons determines how you move items from one monitor to another.

ASRockはネットでは日本語のマニュアルを提供していませんので英語版のマニュアルを見ています。

グラボの仕様によりますがBIOSの設定でオンボードを常時ＯＮにして両方出力でオンボ２画面、グラボ２画面なら４画面出力できます。
