1 I have no idea what it is like.

idea の後に of などが省略。

2 I asked the clerk to have my watch repaired.
これが正解でしょうが、おかしな英語です。
have my watch repaired の主語は I であるべきですが、
これでは clerk の方が主語になってしまいます。

have my watch repaired で使役であり、
主語は頼む I なのです。
ask を使いながら、have を使うというのは矛盾です。

3 spend a large part of our early childhood learning
spend O (in) ～ing「O をするのに費やす」
この in のことで勝手に切れた無礼な質問者がいましたね。

4 Why do you think we should be interested in present issues?
do you think の後は平叙文の語順です。

5 He was laughed at by all the people present.
laugh at という群動詞の受動態 be laughed at (by ～)
present は限定用法で使えないので、後置。

１つ補足。

4 の「現在の」という意味では前置。
5 の「出席した」の意味では限定用法で使えず、
be などの後で補語で用いるのみ。
名詞を修飾しようと思うと後置になります。
those present でおなじみですが、
people present としても同じ。
