I thought a lot but I thought I should explain.
よく考えてみたけど、ちゃんと説明すべきだと思いました。
To be honest, I don't like taking a selfie that much.
正直自撮りはそんなに好きではありません。
But I will send a picture.
しかし1枚だけ写真を送るつもりです。
As you said it is a surprise.
あなたの言う通りそれはサプライズです。
So I don't tell you about when I will send.
だからいつそれを送るかは伝えません。

お書きになった文章でも悪くないと思いますが、少しだけ手直しするなら
