The freezing point is 0 degrees Celsius, that is 32 degrees Fahrenheit.

It's really strange the US, which is the most technologically advanced country, does not adopt the world standard Celsius.

一点だけ指摘しておきますが、0 degrees のように 0の場合は複数形degrees が正しいです。単数形になるのはあくまで1 (あるいは -1)の場合だけです。理屈ではなく単にそういう取り決めです。
