今日この５つの文章を先生に見せたら間違っていると言われました。

1. The boy laid on the grass with their eyes closed.
2. There seem to be every hope that the paitient will get better.
3. As she had nothing to do, she decided one of the flowers in the garden
4. Bill handed me a small round box and told me open it.
5. I'm sorry to say that I have never bought a bunch of flowers my wife.
これのどこが間違っているのでしょうか？

どれもこれも、ひっかかりやすいものばかりです。

1. The boy laid on the grass with their eyes closed.

「横たわる」lie の過去形は、 layです。laid は他動詞「横たえる」layの過去形です。また彼の目を閉じて、でしょうから、with his eyes closedにしなければなりません。

正解は、The boy lay on the grass with his eyes closed.

2. There seem to be every hope that the paitient will get better.

　この文の主語は、every hopeです。それが単数ですから、seemsとしなければなりません。また、paitient→patient

正解は、There seems to be every hope that the patient will get better.

3. As she had nothing to do, she decided one of the flowers in the garden.

decided が、「花の１つを決めた」となって、意味的におかしいです。どういう意味になるのかわかりませんが、例えば、she decided to pick one of the flowers とか、何か to不定詞があるべきところでしょう。また、間違いとは言えないでしょうが、As she had nothing else to doと、他にすることがなかったので、のほうが、自然でしょう。

正解例）As she had nothing else to do, she decided to pick one of the flowers in the garden.

4. Bill handed me a small round box and told me open it.

これは、「tell + 人 + to不定詞」の定型です。told me to open itに。

5. I'm sorry to say that I have never bought a bunch of flowers my wife.

buyが２つ目的語を取るときは、 buy +人+物の順になります。この場合のように順序を逆転させる場合には、buy + 物 + for + 人が定型です。

bought a bunch of flowers for my wife となります。

boy を boys にするか、または、their を his にするかです。

seem を seems にするか、または、patient を patients にするかです。
あと、patient のつづり、間違えてます。

３．
何もすることがなかったごとく、・・・・・って何ですか？
それから、
「（その花）に決めた」「（その花を）選んだ」ということであれば、decided ではなく、picked out になると思います。

４．
open の前に、to を入れるのを忘れてます。

５．
my wife の前に、for が必要です。
