フランス語の発音は英語よりも難しそうに見えても、実際は英語より難しくない。

こんにちは。タイトルの文を英訳してみました。

Altough the French pronunciation seems to be difficult than the English one, actually it is not so difficult as English.

問題点が二つあります。一つは、代名詞の受け方ですが、itやoneの使い方はこれでいいんでしょうか？ 二つ目は “it is not so difficult as English.”の部分は次のように言い換えることができると思いますが、ニュアンスがどう違ってくるでしょうか？

(1)it is less difficult than English
(2)it is easier than English

French seems more difficult than English in terms of pronunciation, but actually the reverse is true.

To pronounce French words seems more difficult than English, but actually not.

French is said to be more difficult to pronounce than English but...

少し冗長さがある文章のように思います。

また more が抜けています。
Altough the French pronunciation seems more difficult than the English one, it is actually not so.
または
Altough the French pronunciation seems more difficult than the English one, it is actually the opposite.

比較にenglishを二回出さなくても伝えるなら十分だと思います。

個人的に、than the English one,を削ってみたら文がすっきりするような気がします。
あとalthoughは結構堅いですのでactuallyのところにbutをいれてalthoughを削ってもいいと思います。

テストなどではあんまり削ると不正解になりがちですが、あんまり堅い文章は見ていて窮屈です。

(1)のような使い方は(2)でふつう表します。比較でlessを使うことはあまり無いです。英仏の比較を強調する場合はas(so)～asより(2)の表現の方がいいです。ただ仏語が簡単だと言いたいなら別に大丈夫だと思います。
加えてso～asでもいいですが、as～asのほうがよく使われます。
