英語って動詞が2個続いてもいいんですか？

英語で「あなたは人々の注目を集める方法を知っていますか？」と書きたいです。

１．Do you know find a way to gain the attention of people?

２．Do you know to find a way to gain the attention of people?

knowもfindも動詞です。
動詞が２個繋がるのはおかしいと思ってfindをto findにしました。
そしたらGoogle翻訳はおかしい翻訳をするようになりました。

この場合は１が合っているのでしょうか？

なぜ動詞が２個続いていいのか教えてください。

知っているかどうかを知りたいのは、(人々の注目を集める)方法、でしょ？

know に続くのはあくまでwayであって、find云々はwayへの修飾じゃん。
そもそも、findって要る？？？

本格的に説明すると，動詞と言っても述語動詞かそうでないか，

ということを区別しないといけません。

動詞が１つ，というのは述語としての動詞です。
ここでも頻繁に質問されている
help 原形
come/go 原形
なんてのも，原形（原形不定詞）というのは非定形動詞（受験英語低には準動詞）であり，
help to 原形
come/go to 原形
と to があるのと変わりありません。

原形というのは単独で述語になれない。
もともと動詞の名詞形でした。

述語としての動詞，
現在形，過去形，助動詞＋原形
こういう動詞が２つ続くことはあり得ません。

３. The committee's proposal did little to help solve the problem. これはtoの省略と考えられますが、これははっきり言って動詞が２つつながる用法です。

以上、３つの例が頭に浮かびましたので、辞書の例文（3番目）も参照しました。つまり、２つ動詞がつながることもあるということです。

どちらもだめだと思います。　正しくは次の通り、　how to 　を使います。
Do you know how to find a way to gain the attention of people?

日本語で　know how 　（ノウハウ）　と言っていますがその語源かもしれません。

それだとGoogle先生が「あなたは、人々の注目を得るための方法を見つける方法を知っていますか？」と訳して～を得るための”方法を見つける方法”と2重に意味がダブってるって怒るんです・・・

to 原形でも ～ing でも「～すること」になります。

I like play tennis. は誤りで
I like to play tennis.
I like playing tennis.
どちらでも正しいです。

これはただ「～すること」が好き

でも今回はただ，「～することを知っている」では弱く，
「する方法を知っている」だから
know how to gain ～とするか
know the way you can gain ～とするか。

learn であれば
learn to speak English「話すことを覚える」で
learn how to speak English「話し方を覚える」
と差はなくなります。

この考えは基本的には正しいです。

Do you know how to gain the attention of people?
のように know の後は疑問詞が続きやすいです。

ただし、how と way が意味的にダブりますので、一方を省略します。

Google 翻訳はあてになりません。

Do you know how to gain ～?

日本語の通り，know の後に「方法」の意味が必要で，
「～する方法」「～の仕方」で how to 原形
とするのが一番楽です。

この how がないので誤りと出るのでしょうが，
know find と続けてももちろん誤りです。
