まずおさらいをしました。

ISO　International Organization for Standardization＝国際標準化機構、
　　　または国際規格（International　Norm）の略号、
UNI　Ente Nazionale Italiano di Unificazione＝イタリアの標準化機関、
　　　または Unificazione　Italiano＝イタリア国家規格、　
EN　　European Norm＝欧州規格。


したがって、UNI EN ISO　１４００１はイタリア　欧州　国際規格（共通）１４００１となります。


英国のHPに次の質問がありました。
UNI-EN ISO 9001-2000 vs. ISO 9001-2000 - What are the differences?

Can someone tell me the differences between these two standards?
Is the UNI still a valid standard? I work for an Italian owned company here
in the states.
Their facilities in Italy are certified to the UNI and they want our domestic
facility to be the same.
Is this something completely out of the ordinary?

There is no difference. Many countries "release" their National Standard mirroring ISO 9001. Here in the US, it is called the ANSI/ISO/ASQ Q9001-2000: Quality Management Systems: Requirements
The requirements are the same.

In Switzerland SN EN ISO9001:2000, (Schweizer Norm)
In England BS EN ISO9001:2000 (British Standards)
In Spain UNE EN ISO9001:2000 (U..... Norma Espanola)

etc, etc.

所在国や承認国の規格を表記していると考えれば良いと思います。
