サイン文化と印鑑文化

以下の英文の添削お願いします。
日本では仕事の契約などは印鑑を使うので、サインはほとんど利用されません。
それゆえ、日本の学校では、子供たちは鉛筆（シャープペンシル）と消しゴムで勉
強することが多く、サインなどに用いるボールペンをメインに使って勉強することは、ほとんどありません。
Contract of work uses a seal in Japan, so almost no signature is used. Therefore there are almost no cases that children often study by a pencil and an eraser and study using a ballpoint pen　at Japanese school.

For business contracts "inkan" stamps are used in Japan, so almost no signature is used. Therefore in Japanese schools children often study with pencils and erasers, and there are almost no cases where ballpoint pens are used for studying.

ちなみに、サインがほとんど利用されないと、なにゆえに、ボールペンをメインに使われないのか、私にはわかりませんが、和文のニュアンス通りに、できるだけ英文を変えずに添削しました。
