アンコール遺跡観光の拠点となる街がシェムリアップです。観光客が多いこともあり、ゲストハウスやホテルが多く、ショップやレストランなどの施設も充実しています。アンコール遺跡観光を楽しむ合間に街の散策をしてみるのもよいでしょう。近年はハンドメイドのカンボジア雑貨を扱うおしゃれなお店なども増え、ショッピングも楽しめるようになってきました。活気あふれるアジアらしい市場を見たいという人はオールドマーケットへ。お土産物屋や銀行などもあるセンターマーケットもおすすめです。

Shemuriappu is a base point for the access to Angkor Wat though the capital is Phnom Penh.
