If a king practiced almsgiving, observing the precepts, and obtaining wisdom for innumerable existences in the past, but in his current existences finds, that the Law is in danger of being destroyed yet does nothing to protect it, then the boundless good fortune he had accumulated will vanish completely. His country will then suffer three catastrophes―grain-shortage-induced inflation, welfare and pestilence.

『若し国王有つて無量世に於て施戒慧を修すとも、我が法の滅せんを見て捨てて擁護せずんば是くの如く種ゆる所の無量の善根悉く皆滅失し、乃至其の王久しからずして当に重病に遇い、寿終の後大地獄に生ずべし』

《無量の善根悉く皆滅失し、乃至其の王久しからずして当に重病に遇い、寿終の後大地獄に生ずべし》の通りである、現時の創価学会員などは当然の如くに、大聖人の御聖訓を心読、通解、受持すらも出来ないというのが、偽らざる姿なのであります。
