上記の倍数表現（twice, 3times）は、副詞的用法に当たるのでしょうか？
なた、身長などがお互いほとんど変わらないと時「ほとんど変わらないよ（一緒だね）」とはどう表現すべきでしょうか？

twice the など 名詞（size, weight など）

は根本的に twice as 形・副 as の twice と同じです。

こういうふうに twice を使うというだけのことで、
そもそも、twice などは副詞以外の用法はないです。

名詞の前といっても、the などの前であり、
重さ・大きさ・レベルなどのこれくらいあるよ、
という状態にかかるようなものです。
