和訳お願いします！！！ The day after the Nobel Prize was awards to Gore and theIPCC. I visited Hiroo Gakuen in Tokyo, a combined junior- and senior-high school, for the school's autumn festival --- this year themed "Earth's Happiness is Our Happiness."
A friend whose daughter graduated from the school thought I might like to see what young people these days are thinking about enviromental issues. I was immediately struck by how Japan has changed. Tokyo, junior- and senior-high school students are studying dioxins, the ozone layer and "corporate social responsibility." When I first began teaching enviromental issues in Japan[in 1990], first-year university students would identify old men on bicycles and bad breath as pressing enviromental concerns.

ノーベル賞がゴアとIPCCに与えられた翌日、私は中学高校一貫校である東京の広尾学園での秋の学園祭～今年のテーマは「地球の幸せが私たちの幸せ」～を訪れた。

娘がその学校の卒業生だという友人は、現代の若者が環境問題について考えていることを私が知りたいだろうと考えていた。私はすぐに日本がどう変化したのかをしり胸を打たれた。東京では中学生や高校生がダイオキシンやオゾン層、そして企業の社会的責任について学んでいるのだ。1990年、私が始めて日本で環境問題について教え始めた時、入学したての大学1年生は環境問題を広げるとして自転車に乗る老人と口臭を特定したのだ。
