one of と同じ意味の言葉

one ofと同じ意味の言葉はありますか？

「３つの部屋のうち、ひとつは書斎として、ほかは寝室として使われている。」という英作文を作らなければいけません。

一応one of the three rooms is used as a study,・・・としたのですが、
先生から答えを2通り以上書くように言われていて、one of のところを変えようかと思いました。

よろしくお願いします。　ちなみに中3です。

とすればいいと思います。
あるいは　asの替わりにforを使うのもありです。
One of three rooms is used for a study, and the others are used for bedrooms.

one ～ and the others ～　の構文は習いましたか？

三つ（者）以上の物（者）がある時
一つは～、あとの残りは～　という表現に使います。

One room is used as a study and the others are
used as bed rooms.
