Advice on Japan trip?

My familiy and I are going to Japan for a weeks and we laid out a rough plan of where we want to go:

2 days Tokyo
2 days Kyoto
3 days Hirosima

Does anyone have any other recommendations or better suggestions as to what we should visit?

3 days for Hiroshima is a bit too long unless you have specific places you want to go in there.

You should spend your time in other places like Osaka or Nara before you go to Hiroshima.

Guess it's a very average and orthodox idea if you hit Japan for

irst time.If I was you,I stay 3 days in Tokyo instead of staying in Hiroshima for 3 days as from Tokyo,you can do a 1 day trip,for instance,to Kamakura.
