地球温暖化に関する記事を読んでいたときに、次の下りにさしかかりました。

Rather than blame half of the record wormth on the new results
show that added greenhouse gases have considerably
upped the chances of a year like 2006.

この文章の区切れ方、また"upped the chances of a year"の意味が
どうも分かりません。もし宜しければ、この意味をご教授下さい。

文の構成はおそらく

S=half of the record warmth on the new results
V=show
O=that以下
ではないでしょうか。

"upped the chances of a year"を含むthat節の意味は
「追加された温室効果ガスが2006年のような年の（また来る）可能性を相当アップさせたということ」
かもしれません。
