CygwinでX Windiws Systemが起動できません

初質問です。
CygwinでX Windiws Systemを起動しようとすると一瞬ウィンドウが表示された後に消えてしまいます。。
Cygwin上でのログは以下です。

何度も出たエラーにあった.cacheディレクトリを見ると確かにimsettingsディレクトリが存在していなかったので、これを作成してから再度startxを実行しましたが、
/usr/libexec/imsettings-functions: 行 37: /home/USER/.cache/imsettings/log: No such file or directory
のエラーが無くなっただけで、やはり起動できませんでした。

インストールしていたCygwin関連のファイルを全削除した後（レジストリは怖いのでいじってません…）、再インストール（Category->Base,Devel,X11の全てとArchive,Editorの一部をインストール）を行い、ターミナルを立ち上げstartxを実行しましたが、同じ結果でした。

もうどう対処すればいいのか全く分かりません…どなたか対処法を教えていただけないでしょうか？よろしくお願いいたします。

実行環境は以下の通りです。
OS:Windows 10 Home
CPU:Core i5-4310M@2.70GHz
RAM:8GB
Cygwinのバージョン:2.905（最新版）

/home/USER/.cache/imsettings/log　の内容はどうなってますか？
