Kyoto Tower is recommended. Because this tower has height of 100

meters, you can overlook a town of Kyoto.

Kiyomizu-Dera temple has beautiful view.
A lot of Japanese go there for the school trip.

I THINK Kinkaku-ji is fine.

Almost all temple are painted in restrained colors.
But this temple is gold-plated.

The answer is really depends on each tourist because of interest, preference, and length of visiting Kyoto.
