ネームサーバー設定について

海外のサーバーと契約し新たにドメインも取得しました。

検索で見つけたブログを参考に設定を進めていたのですが、分からないことがでてきたので質問させて頂きます。

　サーバー：webhostingpad
コントロールパネル：cpanel

参考にしていたブログによると、ドメイン管理サービスでネームサーバー設定を行い、その後、cPanelでドメイン設定をしなければいけないと書いています。

この“ドメイン管理サービスでネームサーバー設定”についてお伺いします。

[前提]
まず、サーバーとの契約後に届いたメールに、次のような文があります。
◇If you have requested a domain name during sign up, please keep in mind that your domain name will not be visible on the internet instantly. This process is called propagation and can take up to 48 hours. Until your domain has propagated, your website and email will not function, we have provided a temporary url which you may use to view your website and upload files in the meantime.
◇Server Information
Server Name: *********
Server IP: *********.webhostingpad.com
If you are using an existing domain with your new hosting account, you will need to update the nameservers to point to the nameservers listed below.
Nameserver 1: ns1.webhostingpad.com (2**.***.***.*)
Nameserver 2: ns2.webhostingpad.com (6*.**.**.***)

そして、サーバーサイトの「How do I change my name servers ?」というページに、次のような文書があります。
◇If your domain name was registered by us, you do not need to do this.

[質門１]
実は、“ドメイン管理サービスでネームサーバー設定”及び“cpanelでドメイン設定”を行おうとしたのですが、現在、出来ない状態でいます。これは、契約してから４８時間経っていないからという問題でしょうか？

[質門２]
サイトページの中にある“If your domain name was registered by us, you do not need to do this.”を読んで、私は「ドメイン管理サービスでネームサーバー設定を行わなくてもいいんだ」と受け取ったのですが、間違っていませんでしょか？


つまり、４８時間経てば、ネームサーバー設定を行うことなく、cPanelでドメイン設定ができるようになると思っています。

間違って認識している箇所、また、どうすべきかをご指導頂きたく存じます。

２．　googleさんの翻訳だと

「あなたのドメイン名が私達によって登録された場合は、これを行う必要はありません。」
ってなっています。よって、レンタルサーバの業者でドメインを取得した場合は設定不要ってことではないでしょうか
