月例アップデート

ウィンドウズの月例アップデートはいつ行われるのでしょうか？
また、なぜ決まった日に行うのでしょうか。アップデートならすぐにでもインストールした方がいいのではないでしょうか？

つーことで第二火曜日。

緊急のものはこの月例パッチから外れることもあります。

【ここからは単なる私の予想】なのですが、パッチを当てる必要があるのは、家庭ユーザーだけでなく、サーバーなど企業用のOSも含みます。

こういったパッチを安全に当てるためには、再起動したほうがよいものも多く、その時、運用しているサービスをいったんとめなければなりません。

バラバラに出ているパッチのタイミングごとに
サービスを止めていたら顧客から文句が飛ぶでしょう。

ある特定の日に纏めて出せば、その分サービスを止める時間は短くて済むでしょうし、メンテナンス等の計画も立てやすい

・・・・のだと思う。【あくまで予想ですが】

毎月第二火曜日に実行されます。

なぜこの日なのかは分からないですね。
よほど緊急なものであればこの日でなくてもアップデートされます。
