I read a news about tattoos and spas in Japan.

Japan Tourism Agency(JTA) announced on 21st Sept. about the result of questionaries about spa all over Japan and the admittance of the persons with tattoos.
The result in 600 facilities:
"declining (56%)" and
"partial admittance(with concealing them by stickers or something (13%)"

Therefore, I advise you ask a hotel person whether it is ok or not in a spa before staying or using a facility.

Those with tattoos can't enter a public bathhouse in Japan.

When it's small, please hide it by a skin-colored tape.

not with a big one. if you only have small one, you can just hide

it with bandaid or skin sheet.
