IELTSの模試にて、以下のような文章があり、解釈に困っております。和訳もしくは、文法の解説をお願いできないでしょうか。

この that はその後の関係代名詞 which と呼応する。

《◆この構文での that は指示性がほとんどなく, 後に関係詞がくることを示す標識として働いているので, 日本語に訳出されないことが多い.
複数形は 「those＋複数名詞＋which ［that］」.→those 》
