一寸日本語に無理があるようですが、その辺を推し量った上で、、、、

We revise our understanding with them in view of processing technology. Instead of simply upgrading technology, it matters to give (our/their) closer attention and more importance to further detail.

改めるのが「自分達か彼ら」かが一寸不明なので「our/their」はその辺を汲んで選んで下さい。
