Cent OS上のntpサーバ同期不可について

【環境】
・CentOS release 5.8 (Final)
・ntp4.2.2p1-15.el5.centos.1

【事象】
ntpq -p投入後、以下エラー表示されます。

ntpdの再起動をしても同現象です。
困っています。

ntpdを起動する前に2～3度ntpdateでざっくり時間あわせしてみては？

(ntpdateはntpdと123のポートを取り合うので注意)
あとはご指定のtimeサーバーへの経路が確保されているかどうか
確認してみるとか・・・

ntpdateで時刻は合わせています。
経路の確保とは、疎通確認って意味でしょうか？
TimeサーバへのPingは通ります。
名前解決も問題なく出来ているのですが、何が原因なのでしょうね・・
