It was hard to tell which wrestler was the ozeki Takayasu dealt out powerful rhrusts soon after the jump off,and all Goeido could do was back up until he was pushed out of the ring.

白鳳と嘉風は互いに激しくぶつかったが、横綱は嘉風が前に出てくる勢いを利用して彼を押し倒しました。

ケガの為春場所を休場していたモンゴル人横綱は、38回度目であり、昨年の夏場所以来の優勝を狙っています。
大関を狙う関脇高安は大関豪栄道を破って2勝目を挙げ、順調な滑り出しです。
どちらが大関なのかわからないほどでしたが、高安は立ち合い後すぐ強烈な突きを見舞い、豪栄道は土俵の外に押し出されるまで後退する以外なすすべがありませんでした。
