福島の「処理水」はアメリカではどんな英語で報道されているのでしょうか？

処理水は正に treated water ですが、どちらかというと正式文書でつかうような言葉です。

アメリカで一般向けのニュースでは wastewater（汚水）が使われています。下水には sewage というれっきとした言葉がありますが普通には wastewaterです。福島の処理水はアメリカ人（や中国人、韓国人）にとっては下水と同列です。

メディアによって色々です。

テレビだと
・ABC news＝ ALPS-treated water
・NBC news=Fukushima water
・CNN=Fukushima radioactive water

新聞だと
・Washington post=Treated Fukushima radioactive water
・New York Times＝Radioactive Fukushima water
・Los angeles Times＝Diluted radioactive wastewater

AlPSという処理方法に着目しているのはABCだけで、他の多くのメディアは放射能で汚染された水＝汚染水というくくりで報道しているということになります。「treated」「diluted」という前置きがあれば、汚染水になんらかの処理をほどこしているという解釈になります。

上記は見出しとかでよく使われている印象

文章中の流れで書き方も微妙に違っていて、
the treated water
the treated radioactive water
the wastewater
waterの代わりにwastewaterを使うこともあるみたいです。

こういうのって記者の思惑で微妙に表現を変えている可能性もあるかもしれません。

Japan began releasing into the ocean the first tranche of more than a million tons of treated radioactive wastewater from the ruined Fukushima Daiichi nuclear power plant on Thursday. The Chinese government, which has been the most vocal regional opponent to the discharge plan, responded by announcing that it would suspend seafood imports from Japan. China imported about $3.2 million in fresh seafood from Japan in July.

The Japanese government and Tokyo Electric Power Company, which operated the plant and is overseeing its decommissioning, have promised that the water is safe for humans and that they will monitor the continuing release to make sure that radioactive material does not exceed international standards.
