Welcome to the UK... Great Britain... the British Isles... Huh?
The UK, Great Britain, Britain the British Isles…It's all so con-fusing, even for some Brits!
Let's try to clear things up a little bit.
The United Kingdom refers to the union of England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland. In fact, the UK's official name is the 'United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland'. Great Britain, or simply Britain, is made up of England,Scotland and Wales.

英国、大英国、英国、イギリス島々国...それらの呼び名はすべて非常な混乱のもとですよね、一部の英国人でさえ！
物事を少しは解かりやすくしましょう。
英国は、英国、スコットランド、ウェールズ、北アイルランドの連合を意味します。事実、英国の正式名称は「英国と北アイルランド」です。イギリス、または単に英国は、英国、スコットランド、ウェールズで構成されています。
