  １who run the Wild Boars meetのmeetはteamという意味でしょうか？辞書では大会、競技会と出るのですが。

addictionには、判定という意味があります。

また、who run the Wild Boars meet,の部分が構文、意味が掴みにくいのですが解説よろしくお願いします。
↑ Wild Boarsチームを運営している人々が集っている山小屋では、笑い、叫び、歓声が上がったほか、およそタイの習慣にはほとんど見られない握手をしている姿があちこちで見られた。
