A word of passage means a part which is quoted from a book. The text has the title and three paragraphs in all. Could the text be the word, if not the text is a part, if but the text is all, then? And would you please show me an usage of "passage" as all text?
For example, the question "Would you correct follwing such a passage please? "https://oshiete.goo.ne.jp/qa/11565398.html title uses "passage" as an essay whole. Could this usage be correct? And would you show me other usage as this?

The word "passage" specifically means "a section from a larger text or work." Because of that, strictly speaking, "passage" should not be used to refer to an entire text, such as a whole essay.

One way to use "passage" in a sentence is:

『"Would you please correct the following passage from my essay?"』

In this case, the passage should only be one part of the essay. It should not be the entire essay.

Other examples:
『"I read a passage from a novel last evening."』
『"The priest read a passage from the Bible."』

However, if you ask something like:

『"Would you please correct the following passage?"』

It may be technically incorrect, but the meaning of the question will still be clear to English speakers.
