場所の尋ね方

人に場所を尋るとき“ここから歩いていけるほど近いですか？”と聞くとき、なんて言えばいいでしょうか？

Is it near enough to walk? でしょうか？間違っているような・・
単純に　Is it possible to walk from here? と言った方がいいでしょうか？

walking distance=歩いていける距離　です。

Is it in walking distance from here?

で　いかがでしょうか？

というのが普通じゃないでしょうか？

ちょっと違う観点でこういう会話も成立たないでしょうか

A:How long does it take to get there by foot?
B:Oh! It is way too far.

直訳にこだわらなければいろいろな方法があると思います

Is it possible...でも間違ってはいませんが、例えば「歩いて30分」の距離でもpossibleには違いない…。このあたりは日本語でも曖昧ですよね。

Is it within a walking distance? と訊くこともできます。
