Please explain the meaning the word,"Kinga."

A 回答 (2件)

"Kinga" means "let me tell you the celebration sincerely", and of course as you know "shin'nen" means "new year".

I hope this is going to be your help.

Hi, martin-ruther.

"Kinga Shin'nen" is made up of four Chinese characters, i.e. 謹(kin)賀(ga)新(shin)年(nen).

The first letter "kin" means humbly, cordially, heartily, courteously, or something like that.
The second letter "ga" means celebrate or say words of congratulations.
The third letter "shin" means new.
The fourth letter "men" means year.

So, in sum, "Kinga Shin'nen" literally means "humbly say words of congratulations on the new year".

As you already know "Kinga" literally means "humbly say words of congratulations."

The phrase may be translated like " I humbly say to you words of new year congratulations."

I hope this answer is of help to you.
