英訳お願いします・・・

英訳お願いします。
翻訳アプリ等でしてみたんですが、やはり文章ならない
感じの文章で終わってしまいます。

本文
先週、〇〇邸に行ってきました。
ここは１７００年代に建築された邸宅で、１９３６年に
増改築された歴史的建造物です。中にはガイドさんが
いて、私達に一つ一つ丁寧に建物内の案内をして
くれました。
広い敷地に、美しい日本庭園、修復された箇所もあり
ましたが、それでも当時の様子を偲ばせる建築様式
でした。
この〇〇は、医師で当時〇〇大学の名誉教授でした。
帰り道、市内の中心街にはイルミネーションが
点灯され、美しい光の輝きに魅了されました。

I had went to ○○ House last week. This is the house which was built in the 1700s and historical building which was remodeled at year 1936. There were a guide in the house and guided us politely and point by point through the inside of the house.

There were large premises and beautiful Japanese garden, also restored parts but the construction was redolent of ancient times.
○○ was a doctor and honorary professor at ○○ University at that time.
When illuminations in the center of the city were lighted up on the my way home, I was fascinated by the shine of the beautiful light.
