it takes toの用法についてお尋ねします。

weblioにあった例文ですが、it takes構文は主語が形式itでなくひと又は物でも非文ではなく自然な用法なのでしょうか？又は書き換えるならHow long will it take me for the wound～to heal?となるのかとも考えますが、冗語的だと考えるのですが本来はこのような表し方が古いが正式な用法との記述が英文法のサイトにあったのですが。
質問を要約すると1の用法は自然か、It takes my wife an an　hour to get redy when we go outをMy wife takes an hour to～.とすることも出来るのか（自然な用法か）ご教示頂ければ幸いです。

まあ、まずは辞書を引いてみましょうか。

It took him ten minutes to solve the problem.
＝He took ten minutes to solve the problem.

その仕事にどれだけ（時間が）かかりましたか

I won’t take long.
あまり時間をかけないつもりだ
《◆Sの意図が暗示される. It won’t take long. は, 「それにはあまり時間がかからない」》.

Now I’d like to take an hour for lunch.
「ここらで１時間昼食にします」

She took two years to paint the picture.
「彼女はその絵を描くのに２年かけた」

ここで面白いのは、

ですね。
write の目的語が主語になっています。

こういうのもあります。

まるで tough 構文のようです。
It is easy to read the book.

それはともかく、下はどれもいえます。
It will take long for the wound in my leg to heal.
The wound in my leg will take long to heal.
How long will it take for the wound in my leg to heal?
How long will the wound in my leg take to heal?

この場合、me は無駄というか余計ですが、あったからといってだめということはありません。

も可能です。
