一度、自分で英訳してみましたが、アドバイス宜しくお願い致します。

①パイプのピンが真上にあることを確認してください。

②パイプのピンが手前にあることを確認してください。
Please check that the position the pin of the pipe is the front..

① Make sure that the pin is on the top of the pipe.

② Make sure that the pin is on the front side of the pipe (pointing at you.)

この手の指示の文章では、Please はなくてOKです。
「やってくれるとありがたい。どうかお願いします」ということではないですから。

Please make sure the pin attached to the pipe is near yourself.

make sure は check でも構いません。

これはpositionやupperを使わないとダメってことなのかな。

Please check that there is a pin on the pipe.
パイプの上にピンがあります、でも良ければ。

Please check that there is a pin in front of the pipe.
とかね。
このピン、って強調したければ、a pinじゃなくてthe pinですが。
