英語の意味を教えてください

It is incorrect to say that we have a 5% increase when it is 55% this year as opposed to 50% last year.

昨年の５０％に対して今年が５５％である時、５％の増加であるというのは正しくない。

ご参考までに、we have a 5-point increase　あるいは we have an increase of 5 points　というのが正しいです。

昨年の伸び率が一昨年と比較して50パーセント増であったのに対して、今年の伸び率が昨年と比較して55パーセント増であった場合、今年は昨年と比較して5パーセント増加したというのは正しくない。
