One of their goals is “Responsible consumption and production”
I would suggest, to achieve this goal, developing an application named, for example, “Online Garage Sale of Waste Foods”.
( This application enables you to buy waste foods less expensively on the internet.
Furthermore, shops can reduce the amount of food waste and generate revenue.
The advantage of this application is that it benefits both the seller and the buyer.
In conclusion, “Online Garage Sale of Waste Foods”, if materialized, will greatly contribute to achieving the goal of “Responsible consumption and production”

次の文を見ますと"surplus food"も含めて同義語がいくつかあることがわかります:

This surplus food, also known as food scraps, food waste, or organic materials, includes all prepared foods, produce, bakery and dairy items, and meat.

"surplus foodstuff"という用語もありますが、これは未調理のまま廃棄処分となった「食材」を意味するようです。

なお、“Responsible Consumption and Production”と、頭文字をすべて大文字にする方がよろしいでしょう。

とても良く書けています。

一点だけ文法間違いがあります。

SDGs, which stand for ... → SDGs, which stands for ...

SDGs という一つのacronymの説明ですから stands とすべきです。

なおご参考までに waste は「廃棄物」であり「汚い」感じがしないでもありません。なので特に余った食べ物を、さらに食べ物としてリサイクルする場合 waste food の代わりに surplus food という言葉を使うこともあります。個人的には surplus food のほうがいいと思います。
