はじめまして、
Should the client call and ask for the annual report, you have my permission to send it to him.

どなたか翻訳お願いします。
特に、Shouldが文頭にくるのは文法的には、どのように解釈したらよいのでしょうか？

仮定法のshouldです。

＞Should the client call and ask for the annual report, you have my permission to send it to him.

Ifが省略され倒置が起こります。

正しくは

If the client should call and ask for the annual report, you have my permission to send it to him.

となります。

shouldはIf節で使われると「万が一～」という少ない可能性を表します。「～べきだ」ではありません。

「万が一、依頼者が電話し年間報告書を要求すれば、あなたはそれを依頼者に送る、私の許可を得る」

となります。

これは If の省略ではないでしょうか。

つまり
If the the client should call and ask for the annual report, you have my permission to send it to him.
「もし、顧客が年次報告を求めるようなら、私に許可を得てそれを彼に送付して下さい。」
