日本語の英訳を添削して下さい

シュルツ氏の漫画『ピーナッツ』に関する文章を英訳しているのですが、
自信がありません。正しい英訳の文を教えて下さい。宜しくお願いします。


1. ピーナッツの魅力は、著者の深い人間観察に基づく登場人物たち　
　―　特にチャーリー・ブラウンにある
　PEANUTS's charm is that characters are based on the author's deep man watching -- especially, Charlie Brown.


2. それを、彼の家族や友達との関係を通して考えていく
　I think it that thorough his family and friends relationship.


3. チャーリー・ブラウンは、しばしば事態を悲観的に考え、
　自分の不幸に関してじっと考え込む
　Charlie Brown often takes a pessimistic view of the situation
　and he thinks deeply about his misfortune.


4. だから、彼は目標や成功の為に頑張る必要がある
　That's why, he need to challenge harder for his purpose and success.


5. 思考錯誤しながら生きる彼が主人公だからこそ、
　ピーナッツの物語は私達の心を打つのである。
　He is living by trial and error
　PEANUTS's stories impressed us deeply.


6. 従って、チャーリー・ブラウンの魅力はピーナッツの魅力だと言える
　Therefore, Charlie Brown's charm is PEANUTS's charm.

うーん。

人の考えというのを表現にするのは結構難しいものですが、なかなか他のご回答がないようなので、とりあえずご参考まで。

1.PEANUTS's charm comes from its characters depicted on the author's preeminent insights into humanity --- especially, Chalie Brown.
2.うーん。明確には日本語の意味がつかめませんでした。
　I think とありますので、ご自身が訴えたいということであれば、
I'll explain this through the relationship among him and his familly and friends.

3. Chalie Brown often takes a situation that he faces pessimistically and he is worried about his misfortune.

4.すいません。前の文との意味がつながらなくてどう書いてよいのか。
But he struggles with it and tries to do his best for his purpose and success.
では間違いですか？

5.Such his way of life, trial and error, impresses on us deeply.

6.Therefore, Chalie Brown's charm is the PEANUTS's.

なんか私の試訳でも２番の文と後ろの文がつながっていないのですが、、、。

質問文の書き方が悪い所があり、申し訳ありません。
自分で英訳をしていて、特に不安な所を数箇所、この「教えて！goo」で
質問させて頂いた為、文章がつながらない、という風になってしまいました。
