この文のwithoutは条件節のwithoutではなく仮定法のwithoutだと思うのですが、カンマをつけなくて良いのでしょうか？

natureの後にカンマがあった方が分かりやすいですよね。

でも、無ければ絶対に間違いというほどではありません。

それより、man の前にthe とか a とか
冠詞をつけないと、
文法的にはダメなような気がします。

ちょいと書き方がおかしいと思いますが、ネイティブがいつも完璧な文を書くとは限りませんのであまり気にすることもないかと。
