ごちゃごちゃ言い出すとキリがありませんので、Japan Timesでも使われている次のような表現で十分でしょう:

　My father is the 4th generation owner of this sushi restaurant.

不動産屋でもない限り、これ以上のことを知りたがる人はいないでしょう。

ひとくちに「4代目」といっても、家族で代々受け継いだ場合と、従業員間（あるいは徒弟）で代々受け継いだ場合とがあると思いますが、前者なのであれば、

My great great grandfather started this sushi bar, and my father is the fourth-generation owner.

と言うと、万人にとってわかりやすくなると思います。つまり「ひいひいおじいさんが始めた寿司屋で、父は4代目店主です」ということですね。後者なら「My」以降だけを言えばいいです。

ヤクザの組長はちょっと違うかもしれませんが、普通、「何代目」とは親から子へまたその子へというように家長が家族の中で順に引き継がれていくことなので、英語で言う場合には家長（owner)であることと、家族（family)であることを入れるとはっきりします。

My father is the owner (of this sushi restaurant) and the 4th generation of the family.

下のNew York Times の記事にも次のような記述があります。
Tony is the owner and the third generation of his family （トニーは3代目だ）

こういう表現が実際に使われていますが、和製英語的な香りもしますね。
