下記LONGMAN辞書にもあるとおり、wonder if の後には現在形は来ないと考えていいと思います。

I wonder if he would come. というべきなのでしょう。

現在形ならつけないとダメですよ。

それと、余談ですがこの If は条件法や仮定法の Ifとは違って、「～かどうか」という意味の接続詞ですから、未来のことならWill を使って未来形にしてもいいです。I wonder if he will come tomorrow. のように。
