電源スイッチでシャットダウンした以降正常に起動しません。

電源スイッチをポチと押して正常に終了できなかった以降、正常に起動することができません。
起動すると見たこともない画面が出てきます。
そこには
　　セーフモード
　　セーフモードとネットワーク
　　セーフモードとコマンドプロンプト
　　前回正常起動時の構成（正しく動作した最新の設定）
　　windowsを通常起動する
とあります。
これらはどれも選択可で、enterを押すと別の画面に移ります。しかしどれを選択しても全て同じ画面が出てきて、解決にいたりません。
その画面は、一面青色でそこに白文字で以下のようなことが書いてあります。
A problem has been detected and windows has been shut down to prevent da,age to your computer.
UNMOUNTABLE_BOOT_VOLUME
If this is the first time you've seen this stop error screen,restart your computer,If this screen appears again,follow these steps:
Check to make sure any new hardware or software is properly installed.
If this is a new installation,ask your hardware or software manufacturer for any windows updates you maight need.
If problems continue,disable or remove any newly installed hardware or software.
Disabele BIOS memory options such as caching or shadowing.If you need to use safe Mode to remove or disable components,restart your computer,press F8 to select Advanced startup options,and then select safe mode.

これ以降はどこも選択することができず、再び電源スイッチで強制終了の繰り返しです。
PCはSOTEC PC STATION V2130RでXPhomeです。
分かりづらい質問ですが、何か解決法がありましたらよろしくお願いします。

stop:0x000000EDで検索するとマイクロソフトにも不具合報告ありました。

ＳＰ１では対策済みのようです。
ただし、正常にシャットダウン処理ができていない以降発生していることと、Ｆ８でどれを選択しても現象再発していることから、ファイル破損によるものだと思われます。
　通常は、Ｈ／Ｗに以上がなければ、再インストールになります。
データが救いたければ、内臓ＨＤＤをＵＳＢ接続で外付ＨＤＤのＢＯＸに入れて、ＵＳＢ等で接続し、救えればラッキーです。

アドバイスありがとうございます。
アドバイスを元に「stop:0x000000ED」でいろいろ調べたところ、何とか解決することができました。
こういうのをエラーメッセージっていうんですね・・・。
ちなみに今は直ったパソコンから書き込んでいます。
