雪でスクールバスが来なかったという娘。その母親との会話。

"what happend?"　（母）
"the bus didnt come"　（娘）
"it must be a snow day"　（母）
"do we have to make it up at the end of the year?"　（娘）

この場合のmake it upは、どう訳すのが適切でしょうか。
