Gross exposureの訳

英語で財務諸表関連資料を扱っているものです。
資料を読んでいたら「gross exposure」という用語が出てきましたが、
これはどういう意味でしょうか。
詳しくは、以下のように書いてありました。

「Gross Exposure
The financial statement amounts exposed to XXXX」

この場合の「exposed」の意味も教えていただけますと幸いです。

Exposure

The proportion of a share portfolio at risk in a certain area. So if you have half of your portfolio invested in high-tech stocks, you have 50% exposure to that market.
特定の分野でリスクにさらされる有価証券資産の割合と言う事のようです。ですからハイテク株に50％の投資があればリスク資産総額は50%になることになるようです。

動詞のexposeは「リスクのある有価証券を表す」かな？
The financial statement amounts exposed to the deficiencies. The volume of activity that has occurred or could occur in the account balance or class of transactions exposed to the deficiency or deficiencies. ..
決算書は赤字の総額を表す(暴露する）
起こりつつある勘定残高や取引別で表れる赤字の額と言う事と思います。

gross exposure
Gross exposure is calculated by adding the percentage of the fund's equity invested in short sales to the percentage of its equity used for long positions. In both cases, the exposures often exceed 100% because they do not account for the use of leverage. See also Net exposure.
グロス・エクスポージャーとは資産としての”有価証券の買い持ち”と”株等の空売り”の割合を足したたもの。両者の場合では財務てこ入れに使うわけではないため株式等のリスク率は100％を越える。

net exposure
Net exposure takes into account the benefits of offsetting long and short positions and is calculated by subtracting the percentage of the fund's equity capital invested in short sales from the percentage of its equity capital used for long positions. For example, if a fund is 125% long and 50% short, its net exposure would be 75%.
は、「買い持ち比率」引く「空売り率」となる。

XXXXの部分は、数値でしょう。

リスク負担を負っている
資産であると想定できるのですが、質問の句だけでは、
それ以上いえません。

よく使うフレーズは、exposure to risk=リスク負担(額）です。
金融関係分野での用語exposed, exposure はリスクに連結して
いるとことが大半です。

さまざまリスク資産があるですが、単にexposureならば、
とりわけ”負債者に対する信用上の取引額”でありかつ
マーケット動向によっては損失にもなりうる価格変動リスクに
さらされている金融資産と言った意味でしょう。

質問分野を会計、金融でなさるとより適切な回答があるでしょう。
