メキシコに住むペンフレンドが安否確認のメールを送って来ました。アメリカで津波が起きていますが、メキシコは大丈夫ですよね？

I'm totally safe because the town I'm living has escaped from harm.

But I'm worrying about the disconnection to my friend who lives in the disaster area.
Many people have died and I feel little anxious about unexpected possible earthquake.
I really appreciate your anxiety and the support from all over the world.
