よろしければforのイメージの掴み方を踏まえて説明して頂ければ幸いです。

コンマがあるんだから非制限です。

たぶん、前の質問のことを意識されているんでしょう。
何を信じるかは自由です。
where が何のことなのかがわかることが大切です。
, one/either/some/all
of
which/whom
このパターンは何度もここで質問されています。
コンマがあるんだから非制限に決まっていますが、
それでわかったことにはなりません。

receive → awards → for ～
と流れることがすべてです。

「～のために」と理由の for と取れなくもないですし、
「～のための」賞と取れなくもありません。

いつも言いますが、形容詞句か副詞句かがわかることで意味の理解の助けになるのなら区別したらいいです。
逆に、形容詞句か副詞句かわかっても、それだけでは何の意味もありません。

in the center .... で「～の中心に」ある
という意味合いがあることがすべてです。
これが complex にかかるから形容詞句だ、というのは日本人的発想で、
それに何の意味もありません。
場所を表す副詞にすぎません。

抜けましたが、

design for ～は「～の」っぽいけど for でぴったりのもので、
名詞にかかる for ～です。
