記事によると、出場した大会では優勝もありますが、「総なめ」と言う状況までは伺えなかったので、「数々の大会に出場し、主要なタイトルを獲得した著名なボディビルダーの1人で…」としています。


News of Mike Quinn's passing:

I cannot believe that Mike has passed away at the young age of 61.
He was one of the prominent bodybuilders who competed in numerous bodybuilding competitions in the 1980's and 90's and won the major titles and I was always fascinated by the magazines that featured him.
It was reported that he had a battle with a long-term illness, but I didn't think he was so serious, thus, I was truly shocked.

素直に訳すと、こうなります。

I can't believe that he passed away at the young age of 61.
He was one of the players who swept most of the tournaments and I was always fascinated by the magazines he appeared in.
He wrote in the article that he had been battling the disease for many years, but I was shocked because I didn't think it was that serious.
