たしか、高くジャンプしようと思うなら、一旦身をひくしなければならない、というような意味のがありました。それの英語版がわかれば教えて下さい。

私が知っている飛ぶことに関するニーチェの名言は以下の二つです。

He who would learn to fly one day must first learn to stand and walk and run and climb and dance; one cannot fly into flying.
「いつか空の飛び方を知りたいと思っている者は、まず立ちあがり、歩き、走り、登り、踊ることを学ばなければならない。その過程を飛ばして、飛ぶことはできないのだ」
もう一つは
The higher we soar, the smaller we appear to those who cannot fly.
「より高く飛翔すれば、飛べない人からすればより小さく見える。」

To fly high,

you have to crouch as law as possible.
