long-lived assets

Long-lived assets are usually those assets that are not consumed during the normal course of business, e.g. land, buildings and equipment, etc.

「土地、建物、設備のように通常の事業活動では消費されない資産」とでも訳せます。しかし、この説明だと、無形固定資産が含まれるのかどうかはっきりしません。

「のれん・・・以外のlong-lived assets」となっていますから、Fixed Assetsと同義で使われています。日本の会計では「固定資産」に相当します。

long-livedは「a. 長命の; 永続する」(研究社リーダース・プラス英和辞典)と辞書にも記載されていますので一個の形容詞と考えられますが、「assets that have a long life」という表現に代えるともっと理解しやすいかもしれません。

文法的に・・・
そのまんまでは？
long(長く)，lived(生きている)をハイフンでつなげて１語にしてassetを修飾ということでよろしいかと・・・。
因みに"long-lived"でも形容詞として辞書に載っているようですが。
