廃水処理の有害物質

論文を訳していての疑問です、

私達は、６種類の排水における完全な要因分析を行った。排水の３種の濃度レベル、そして３種の沈殿物について。

Statistical treatment of the results showed that the percentage inhibition of nitrification was significantly depending on the type of waste water, on the effect of the waste water is related to the type of compound or waste water that usually occurs in the sludge.
結果の取り扱いにより、硝化の重量百分率阻害が排水の形態にかなり依存していることが示され、排水の効果は化合物、または汚泥に存在する排水形態と関連する。

ここで言う、『有害物質』とは何で、なぜ窒素除去(硝化・脱窒)が阻害されるのですか？

　「toxic compounds」は『有害物質』で良いですか？
　薬を研究してる者から見ると，「有害」じゃなくて「有毒」だと思うのですが・・・。

　どんな仕組みで「窒素除去(硝化・脱窒)」をしてるのですか？それが不明だと何とも回答の為ようがありませんが・・・。

　もし，微生物での処理であればですが，「toxic compounds」が入るとどうなるか，解りますよね。

緒言なんて.読んでないで.結果・結論か.実験方法のところに書いてあるはず。
